Excel · XLSX

Values, formula text, hidden sheets, sheet names, comments, metadata and external links. Formatting, merged cells, widths and colours are preserved whenever possible.

Word · DOCX

Paragraphs, tables, headers, footers, notes, comments, properties and external links.

PowerPoint · PPTX

Text boxes, tables, presenter notes, comments, properties and external links.

OpenDocument · ODT, ODS and ODP

Text documents, spreadsheets and presentations in open formats. Metadata, annotations and external links are cleaned locally.

Native or scanned PDF

Every page, text layer, local OCR, automatic masks, manual areas and final flattening.

Images and folders

JPG and PNG files are converted locally to metadata-free PDFs. HEIC works when the browser can decode it. A ZIP can contain up to ten supported files, with no nested archives.

CSV, TXT and Markdown

Full text while retaining UTF-8 encoding and a readable document structure.

Restoration and its limits

Restoration uses the same vault and unchanged codes. TXT, Markdown, CSV, Microsoft Office and OpenDocument content can be restored. PDF restoration uses saved positions for unchanged COSMO copies, otherwise local OCR; the output stays flattened. Solid masks, replaced photos and deleted information cannot be restored.
